Dianne is a photographer and multi-media artist interested in the rawness and austerity of rural and remote landscapes. These settings are backdrops and inspirations for unspoken stories and social commentary. Dianne likes to travel to the edges for inspiration - New Mexico deserts, Montana mountains, standing stones in the Outer Hebrides, icebergs in Newfoundland – while also appreciating the local beauty in the Kawarthas.
Dianne has co-exhibited with Michael Harris in six SPARK Photo Festival shows in Peterborough and with Janet Dey in CONTACT Photography Festival in Toronto.
Since 1995 Dianne has mounted solo exhibitions in Toronto, Peterborough, Dufferin County, Creemore and Lindsay. Her photographs are held in the art collections of Trent University (Peterborough) and McMillan LLP (Toronto), and among private collectors.
