I was born in Montreal, and moved around throughout my life, including Saudi Arabia for three years. Art has continuously woven itself between the forefront and background of my life. I graduated from a fine arts high school in Ontario, earned a BScF in New Brunswick, and then moved to Northern British Columbia to work as a Forester/Biologist, where art and nature truly integrated. My love of science and desire to create led me through various careers in my desire to creatively maneuver this life. I can now be found in Kawartha Lakes working in my studio, Blue Frogs Legs.
My artworks include variations of abstract and realism, or a unique combination of the two. Shifting effortlessly from one medium to the next, I work in acrylic, coloured pencils, watercolour, ink, mosaics, oil pastels, scratchboard, photography, mixed media, chalk pastels, wood, printmaking, wire and metal works. Refusing to be put in a box - I have instead chosen to embrace the multitude of creative avenues and my unique vision to produce art pieces that reflect the world as I see it.
