I’m a fine arts and mixed media artist living in the Kawarthas. Animals and nature are my voice in art. There’s a clarity to animals that I’m drawn too. How would I describe the how and why I paint can be expressed by a well known song verse, “come with me and you’ll see a world of pure imagination …” this is the journey and touch point of every piece of art I create. My artistic style is intuitive and I lean towards an ethereal and mystical aesthetic. Loose, free flowing brushwork and texture. Somewhere in between abstract realism and expressionistic. I work with many mediums weaving them into a background tapestry for the focal point. It’s routed in expressiveness, endless possibilities and story telling.
