Call for Vendors:
Winter Makers’ Market 2025

Kawartha Lakes Arts Council is excited to invite artists and makers to take part in this upcoming market! This festive event is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell your original creations just in time for the holiday season.

Application Deadline: November 1, 2025

Applications for 2025 are now open! Please ensure you read through the following before applying.

    • Application Deadline: Saturday, November 1, 2025.

    • Event Location: Kent Place, 189 Kent Street W, Lindsay, Ontario. The event space will be locked overnight to prevent theft. The space offers a designated private vendor break room with access to complimentary drinks and a washroom.

    • Application Fees: $75 for KLAC members and $125 for non-members for a 6’ x 10’ space. Fees are required at the time of submission.

    • Vendor Responsibilities:

      • Vendors must bring their own chairs, tables and product displays. All display components must be free standing and safely secured to avoid falling down. All items must fit within the 6’ x 10’ space.

      • Vendors are responsible for setting up and dismantling their displays.

      • Vendors must be able to attend both days of the event.

      • Vendors are responsible for obtaining their own insurance, including liability coverage.

      • There are no available electrical outlets for vendors. While the venue is well lit, any vendors wishing to operate items requiring electricity will need to provide battery powered options as generators are not permissible.

    • Cancellation Fee: A $50 non-refundable fee applies if cancelling after Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

  • All displayed work must be original works created by the artist.

    The KLAC Board reserves the right to request removal of any work displayed at the market that does not meet our criteria (e.g., reproductions, mass-produced items, or pieces not in the spirit of the Winter Makers’ Market).

    If, based on the 3–5 photos submitted at the time of application, the KLAC Board determines that an artist’s work does not fit the criteria, the application will not be accepted and a full refund of the application fee will be issued.

  • Participation is prioritized on a first come, first served basis. Submit your application early!

    In your application, you will be asked to provide the following information:

    • Type of craft/media

    • A short artist statement about you and your creative process

    • A price list reflecting the variety and price ranges of your work (please include prices for any submitted images)

    • 3-5 photos of your work must be emailed after submitting your application for review and use in promotional materials

  • KLAC members in good standing for 2025 receive a $50 discount on booth fees. If you haven’t renewed your membership or wish to join, click here to sign up before submitting your application.
