Request for Submissions — KLAC Greeting Card collection
The Kawartha Lakes Arts Council (KLAC) will feature jury-selected member art on greeting cards to be sold in sets of five. Each package will include one of each of five chosen art images.
Members are invited to submit one (1) original image for inclusion in the inaugural Greeting Card Collection. A jury will choose the five (5) images to be featured in the collection. The image title and artist name will be included on the back of the card along with the KLAC logo and KLAC contact information.
200 cards (40 of each image) will be printed in the first run. Finished cards will be 8.5" X 5.5" on 16 pt card stock. KLAC will be responsible for all layout, printing, marketing and distribution costs.
Selected images will be reproduced with the permission of the artist. All proceeds from sales of the greeting cards will go to KLAC in order to support the Arts Council in its work.
To be selected, artists must be a paid KLAC member. Those whose work has been chosen will receive one (1) KLAC one-year membership that they can gift to another artist.
